Sandeep lamichhane early age

Sandeep Lamichhane was born on 2 August 2000 in Aruchaur, Syangja, Gandaki Province. During his childhood, he considered Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne as his cricketing idols. Then he moved to Chitwan district and started training at Chitwan Cricket Academy which is run by former captain Raju Khadka. During a visit by the captain Paras Khadka and coach of Nepal Pubudu Dasanayake, Sandeep was told to bowl in the nets and was selected for the national under-19 training camp. It was Pubudu Dasanayake who first spotted his talent when he was a 14 year old kid.

Lamichhane is also a Singer. InJuly 2018, Lamichhane released his first song Udash thiyo from the album Pratikshya-the waiting

In September 2022, a 17-year-old girl filed a complaint against Lamichhane at Gaushala Metropolitan Police Circle. According to police, the crime was committed on 21 August 2022. According to the girl, she was a fan of the cricketer, and they would often interact with each other via WhatsApp and Snapchat.Later, in the same month, Nepal police issued a diffusion notice through the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) against Sandeep Lamichhane, and his name was added to the police fugitive list of Interpol member states following which Lamichhane reiterated through a Facebook post that he was innocent. He said, “All the allegations against me have affected me mentally. I am in mental stress and ill health, and have kept myself in isolation. I have been following the doctor's advice,” Lamichhane said. “I will come back to Nepal as soon as possible.”
